Between 1996 and 2005 the company focused on its best selling legacy Windows-based client-server applications Personnel Manager and Personnel Director. With over 20,000 copies shipped worldwide, these products have one of the largest customer bases in the HR software market.
In 2005, following detailed research of the market, Vizual developed an entire new generation of technology called HR.net.
Relaunched as HR.net Enterprise in June 2009, it is developed using the latest web-based technology, and has been designed for larger organisations or those with complex requirements. HR.net Enterprise offers multi-country capabilities combined with an innovative graphical workflow tool that has helped establish it as a leading technology in the HR solutions market.
In June 2009 the company released HR.net Professional, HR.net Express and HR.net Lite, HR solutions aimed at smaller businesses.
With over 160 staff and offices in Beckenham (sales, consulting and administration), Weston-Super-Mare (development and support), and Chennai, India (product development, support and consulting) the company prides itself on an innovative approach and diverse range of products, all aimed at reducing, streamlining and automating the traditional administration associated with HR processes.
In February 2010 Vizual was acquired by ADP (Automatic Data Processing) the world’s leading Payroll, HR and Time & Attendance service provider. ADP (NASDAQ:ADP) with nearly $9 billion in revenues and over 570,000 clients, is one of the world’s largest providers of business outsourcing solutions.
