Specify the equity matrix where employees are paid in shares and these parameters control how managers allocate equity-based performance payments. CompReview.net allows you to assign compensation managers to employees and then automatically checks to ensure employees in the compensation review process are active and have a current salary record.

Once the compensation review process is underway managers audit their employees, ensuring they only review employees they are responsible for. Managers enter their proposed increases on an easy-to-follow form. Once the proposals have been entered these recommendations are forwarded electronically to the next stage of the review process.

Reviewing managers use easy-to-follow forms to make compensation recommendations Managers can view data at any stage to see the recommendations they have made HR can have the ability to accept recommendations, change splits or refer the proposed award back for further review

Automatic reminders to reviewing managers
CompReview.net automatically sends a daily reminder to every manager with outstanding employee compensation reviews. These reminders continue to be sent until the final review has been submitted. If a review is still outstanding after this deadline it can be automatically escalated for further action. Unlimited reviews and re-reviews at every stage

After any number of iterations between managers and HR the proposed increases are sent to the compensation review committee (or highest level) for final review. These reviewers can access consolidated reports showing where every employee is in the process with details of their proposed increases.

If, at any stage, a further review is required then only those employees affected are returned through the process - employees whose reviews have already been agreed are held until the re-review of employees are completed.

At each stage there is a cross-check that the details of those in review match the database. Administrator users can have special rights to change the compensation details after the process has been completed. Any changes undertaken this way logged in the audit trail as a manual change and this will also appear in the compensation history.

CompReview.net automatically updates the audit trail for every employee, at every stage of the process.

Once the final compensation has been agreed CompReview.net creates new salary and bonus records and can apply effective date(s) at any point in the future. Any approved bonus is copied to each employee’s benefit record, with future vesting dates in the case of shares and future payment dates in the case of deferred cash bonus payments.

At the effective date the new salary becomes current and the old salary is moved one down in each employee’s salary history. A total reward statement can then be generated at any stage to show an individual’s total remuneration package.

CompReview.net goes on to generate salary review letters outlining the new compensation for each employee, with electronic copies of these letters attached to the employees’ record in the database.
