Architecture

HR.net Professional has been written using the latest .NET technology from Microsoft.

The underlying database is Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express, which is loaded when you install HR.net Professional. HR.net runs on .NET Framework 3.5, which is also loaded as part of the installation process.

HR.net Professional is a web application and requires a web server.

The installation program will locate the correct version of IIS on your PC or network and automatically configure it for use. If it does not find IIS, the installation program will automatically install UltiDev Cassini Web Server. This is a Windows compatible web server.

Client Requirements
End users access the application via Internet Explorer 7 and no software is required for normal HR users, manager or employee users. Any PC capable of running Internet Explorer 7 and Windows XP SP3 would be suitable to access HR.net Professional.
